Preparing For
Micro Infusion

When preparing for your Micro Infusion treatment, you’ll want to make sure that you arrive at your appointment with clean skin that is free of any makeup, lotions, serums or sunscreen. It’s important that you notify your Micro Infusion practitioner of any tattoos you have, including cosmetic tattooing, in the treatment area as these areas must be avoided.

Your Micro Infusion Procedure

Your Micro Infusion treatment will take approximately 30 minutes and will be performed by a certified aesthetic medical practitioner in one of our state-of-the-art treatment rooms. Depending on your individual needs, your treatment will be customized with a unique blend of skin-enhancing ingredients, such as vitamins, neuromodulators and dermal fillers that your provider will place directly below the surface of the skin with the Micro Infusion fine touch applicator. While patients find their Micro Infusion treatment to be virtually painless, some notice a slight stinging sensation.

Micro Infusion Results

This 24k-carat gold medical facial device provides dramatic, yet completely natural-looking results. Most patients see an improvement in the tone, texture and overall skin health immediately following treatment and the benefits continue to increase over four to seven days, and last for up to three months. Mild redness has been reported after the Micro Infusion treatment, which generally resolves within several hours.

Micro Infusion Follow-up

While you don’t need to return to our office for a follow-up appointment after your Micro Infusion treatment, we do recommend the following for optimal results:

Do not apply makeup or wash your face for at least six hours after your treatment
When you do wash your face, cleanse the treated area gently gentle soap, and make sure to apply moisturizer directly after
Resume your daily skin care routine the day following your treatment
Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 24 hours after your treatment
Wear SPF 30 or higher during incidental sun exposure (driving, walking) for two weeks following your treatment
Avoid exfoliating cleansers, peels, and medications on the treated area for at least one week following your treatment
Avoid any exercise that causes sweating
Refrain from using hot tubs, steam baths or sauna if you notice any skin irritation
