Stimulate the natural repair of your skin with Microneedling and PRP.*

Twelve tiny, sterile needles are attached to a motorized pen that reciprocate rapidly creating micro-channels into the skin. The procedure creates a controlled injury which causes your body to begin its own wound healing response which builds collagen. Increasing collagen in the skin will diminish wrinkles, scars, pore size, photo-damage, and even stretch marks.*

With the infusion of your own Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) you can achieve even more amazing results. PRP is your body’s own natural repair serum and when used during the Microneedling treatment, downtime can be reduced and results enhanced.* PRP is also great for inducing hair regrowth on the scalp, stimulating the follicles.

FAQ’s

Does it hurt?

The treatment is generally uncomfortable (not unbearable) with some sensitive areas being more painful. We offer topical numbing prior to your procedure that makes it more comfortable, though some choose to go without.

How much downtime will I have?

Most people are slightly pink for 24-48 hours, and some report dryness/flaking for a few days after treatment. Make-up can be applied 12 hours after treatment. For quickest healing, we recommend our Epionce Post Procedure kit.

Is it as effective as Fraxel or CO2 laser?

Yes and no. The effectiveness of Fraxel or CO2 is directly related to the aggressiveness of the treatment. When comparing Microneedling to a low/moderate CO2 treatment, Microneedling yields superior results. If you have a more severe (fully ablative or a high fractionally ablative) CO2 treatment, Microneedling doesn’t compete… at least with one treatment. However, while Fraxel/CO2 lasers are great for resurfacing, they also have much more significant downtime and pain associated with the procedure. You could expect to be red/pink for 3-10 days with a light/moderate CO2 treatment and 2-3 months with an aggressive treatment.

I have a history of keloid scarring, can I Microneedle?

We don’t recommend Microneedling for patients with a history of keloid scarring. Unfortunately, there isn’t a clear reason why some people keloid scar and when/where it will happen. Any time the skin is punctured, a collagen response occurs and it happens in a hyper-accelerated pace in people who develop keloid scars.

Can I do it if I have active acne?

It depends upon the type of acne that’s present. Some types of blemishes can safely be Microneedled, however, other’s cannot because of the risk of spreading acne-causing bacteria. It’s best to come in for a free consultation to see if you are a candidate.

This is a very safe and common procedure.

What if I get cold sores, can I Microneedle?

Yes, however, you would never want to Microneedle over an active cold sore. It’s best to pretreat with an antiviral (like Valtrex) prior to your treatment if you have a history of cold sores.

This is a very safe and common procedure.

How does the PRP process work?

First we take a small amount of blood, usually from your arm vein. We then spin the blood in a centrifuge to separate the plasma. The PRP is then either injected into treatment areas or applied to the surface of the treatment area after Microneedling.

Testimonials

I was scared to try Botox to get rid of my ugly frown lines. Leslie explained the benefits and did the Botox injections. I’m very happy with the results. I only trust Leslie and would drive 50 miles to see her. Love her!*
