When it comes to skin rejuvenation, the combination of HALO fractional laser treatment and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a match made in aesthetic heaven. This dynamic duo enhances skin renewal, promotes collagen production, and accelerates healing, leaving you with a radiant, youthful glow. If you’re looking for a treatment that targets texture, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and overall skin vitality, HALO and PRP might be your perfect pairing.
What is Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)?
PRP is a powerful, natural skin rejuvenator derived from your own blood. Our blood consists of four main components: plasma, white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets. Platelet-rich plasma is a concentrated blend of plasma and platelets, which contain growth factors that stimulate tissue regeneration, cell renewal, and healing. When used in aesthetic treatments, PRP enhances results by encouraging the production of new collagen and elastin.
How is PRP Obtained?
PRP is extracted from your own blood through a simple process:
- A small blood sample is drawn.
- The sample is placed in a centrifuge, spinning for a few minutes to separate the plasma and platelets from other blood components.
- The resulting platelet-rich plasma is applied topically after HALO laser treatment, promoting faster healing and optimal skin renewal.
Since PRP is sourced from your own body, the risk of rejection or adverse reactions is extremely minimal.
What is HALO Laser Treatment?
HALO is a hybrid fractional laser that uniquely combines ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to deliver both deep and surface-level skin rejuvenation.
- Non-ablative wavelength: Penetrates deep into the skin, stimulating collagen production for long-term improvements.
- Ablative wavelength: Targets the surface layer, addressing fine lines, wrinkles, and texture.
HALO is a versatile treatment suitable for all skin types, offering remarkable benefits, including:
✔️ Smoother skin texture
✔️ Diminished scars and blemishes
✔️ Reduction of fine lines and wrinkles
✔️ Evened-out hyperpigmentation and rosacea
✔️ Minimized pores
✔️ Increased collagen and skin elasticity

Featured Skincare Product

Alastin Nectar
Maximize treatment results and helps strengthen skin ahead of cosmetic treatments, enhances treatment outcomes and reduces recovery time.
Benefits of Regenerating Skin Nectar
- Enhances cosmetic treatment results.
- Calms post-procedure skin and helps reduce recovery time with Arnica, Phytoene, Phytofluene, and Narigenin with Panthenyl Triacetate.
- Helps strengthen skin ahead of cosmetic treatments to improve the appearance of smoother, brighter, more youthful-looking skin afterward.
What Happens During Treatment?
After numbing, the treatment begins with facial mapping to divide the face into five treatment zones:
✔️ Cheeks (includes chin) – two sections
✔️ Forehead – two sections
✔️ Nose – one section
Each section takes approximately 2-5 minutes, depending on the treatment focus. Patients often experience a gradual warming sensation, but a cooling system helps counteract the heat. Some describe the feeling as a prickly warmth, which typically subsides within two hours.
Once the laser treatment is complete, PRP is applied topically to enhance healing. This golden serum must remain on the skin for 6-8 hours post-treatment for maximum absorption and effectiveness.
Post-Treatment Expectations & Side Effects
After treatment, it’s normal to experience temporary side effects as your skin begins its renewal process:
- Redness (lasting up to 7 days)
- Sandpaper-like rough texture (up to 7 days)
- Swelling (subsiding in 2-4 days; can be alleviated with a cold compress or antihistamines)
- Pinpoint bleeding or petechiae
- Tenderness, dryness, and flaking
- Mild tingling or itching (can be relieved with antihistamines)
- Tight, warm sensation
Aftercare: Maximizing Your Results
Proper aftercare is crucial to achieving optimal skin rejuvenation:
- Allow flaking to occur naturally—no picking, scrubbing, or exfoliating.
- Use lukewarm water and gentle, provided skincare products for the first 3-5 days.
- Apply mineral sunscreen daily to protect your healing skin.
- Avoid intense sweating and strenuous exercise until flaking is complete.
When Will You See Results?
While some improvements may be visible within a few days, full results develop over 4-6 weeks as new collagen forms and your skin fully regenerates.
