What to Do
Avoid Sun Exposure & Wear SPF: Avoid sun exposure for 48 hours following your treatment. It is imperative you use a mineral-based sunscreen of SPF 30 or greater and wear protective clothing when sun exposure is unavoidable.
Pause Exfoliants & Scrubs: Do not use skin exfoliants, retinoids, or active scrubs for 3–5 days after treatment.
Avoid Excessive Heat: Avoid heat exposure such as hot tubs, saunas, steam, or excessive exercise for at least 24 hours following treatment.
Sanitize Phone & Use Clean Pillowcases: Please clean with alcohol anything that may come into contact with your face such as your phone or glasses. Use a clean pillowcase. Keeping the treated area as clean as possible will help lessen the chance of breakouts.
Keep Skin Clean & Free of Makeup: You should keep your skin free of any makeup or additional products not given to you at the time of your treatment for at least 12 hours.
6-Hour PRP Leave-On Rule: For PRP treatments, you must keep the PRP solution on your skin for 6 hours following treatment. At that point, you may gently wash your skin and apply your recommended post-care products.
