Does it hurt?
Technology has come a long way since the old days where laser hair removal was considered a torturous process. Our laser has a cold tip which pre-cools the skin before delivering a pulse of energy. This makes the treatment much more tolerable than with previous versions machines.
Can I do more than one area at a time?
Of course! In fact, we offer discounts on packages that include multiple areas. If you would like to know how much bundling specific areas will be, we ask that you come in for a consultation.
How many treatments will it take?
Most areas of the body are effectively treated with 6 sessions spaced 4-8 weeks apart. Patients usually require a touch-up every year or so. You may require more sessions depending upon your hair type.
How should I prepare for treatment?
Please have the entire area shaved the day of or the day before your appointment. Do not use any other materials or devices that will remove the hair follicles in the area, such as wax or depilatory creams, within 6 weeks of your appointment as this will lead to less optimal results.
Is the hair gone forever?
Some hair follicles can lay dormant for up to two years! Therefore, with our packages of 6 treatments, we offer a free annual touch up for life. If a random hair pops up after your initial 6 treatments, no need to worry. Just come in for a quick touch up on us.
Will it work on very light, blonde hair?
Unfortunately, our SHR light technology picks up dark hair follicles and delivers energy and heat to them to damage and destroy the follicle. Blonde hair follicles are not dark enough to absorb the energy which makes the treatment not as effective. Always schedule a consultation to see if you are a good candidate.
